Monday to Friday (Typical hours: 8-4 or 9-5, flexible around you)

Are you an organised, proactive individual with a confident phone manner and a passion for supporting sales teams behind the scenes? We're recruiting for a Sales Coordinator to join a thriving business based in Swadlincote, working as part of a supportive team that's helping drive continued national growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a varied role where you'll blend administration, customer service, and outbound communication to support a team of technical sales managers. You'll be fully trained in the company's product offering and sales process - making this a great role for someone who's confident picking up the phone and ready to learn.

Why You'll Love This Role:

  • You'll work closely with both the external sales and estimating teams
  • A mix of sales admin and light outbound calling (mostly lead follow-up)
  • Flexible working hours discussed with your manager to suit your schedule
  • No hard selling - but you'll still have the opportunity to close orders and negotiate margins with full support

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Logging sales activity, schedules, and leads into the CRM system
  • Making outbound calls to Buyers and Quantity Surveyors to follow up on leads and gather project info
  • Updating project schedules, next action dates, and expected order dates
  • Negotiating and closing orders over the phone (after full training)
  • Providing high-level admin support to external sales managers
  • Offering excellent customer service via phone and email
  • Monitoring project progress and researching new prospects
  • Maintaining accurate CRM data and ensuring timely updates

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous admin or sales coordination experience (ideally in a construction environment - but not essential)
  • A positive, confident phone manner - comfortable making outbound calls
  • A natural organiser with strong attention to detail
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and great communication skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Driven to learn and grow within a busy, fast-paced team

What's In It For You:

  • Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)
  • A fantastic holiday package with option to sell or carry over
  • Health Cash Plan
  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Pay
  • Employee Assistance Programme (Health Assured)
  • Staff discounts, rewards, and long service awards
  • Life Assurance
  • A welcoming team culture and full training provided

This role would suit someone with a sales support background who's looking to be part of a growing team - or someone confident and organised who's ready to build on existing admin experience and develop a career in internal sales.
