About the Business
This organisation operates a modern, technology‑enabled platform that aims to make property transactions faster, clearer and more reliable.
They offer multiple digitally driven sales routes and are focused on reducing friction and improving the experience for both buyers and sellers.
The company combines technology, data and contemporary transaction models to drive certainty, efficiency and better outcomes across the entire process.
They are now hiring a Head of Growth Marketing to build and lead the engine that drives demand, conversion and commercial performance across the platform.
This is not a traditional marketing role - it is a commercial growth leadership position with significant influence over the next phase of scale.

The Mandate
You will own the growth engine that drives:

  • Demand creation
  • Demand capture
  • Demand conversion
  • Demand intelligence

Across both Buyer and Seller journeys.
You will allocate capital efficiently, translate brand positioning into scalable demand, and leverage data and AI to optimise performance. You will report into senior leadership and play a visible role in shaping the commercial direction of the business.

Core Responsibilities;

Demand Creation (Brand & Education)

  • Turn the core proposition into compelling, scalable market positioning
  • Build demand in a market that does not always understand modern transaction models
  • Align messaging across paid, organic and lifecycle channels
  • Balance performance discipline with long-term brand equity
  • Ensure the narrative is commercially sharp, not generic

Demand Capture (Acquisition & Performance)

  • Own PPC, paid social and digital acquisition channels for both Buyer and Seller journeys
  • Manage and challenge external agencies
  • Shift optimisation from CPL to revenue-weighted metrics (CAC, payback, contribution)
  • Implement AI-driven bidding and budget allocation models
  • Identify and scale high-performing geographic and intent-based segments
  • Make disciplined decisions about what not to run

Demand Conversion (Funnel & Lifecycle)

  • Own landing page architecture and testing strategy
  • Improve conversion from lead → instruction → completion
  • Build email and lifecycle journeys that drive progression and reactivation
  • Identify and remove friction points across the funnel
  • Partner with operations to ensure growth is matched by delivery capability

Demand Intelligence (Data & AI)

  • Work with data and tech teams to enhance attribution
  • Ensure clean, end‑to‑end tracking from click to completion
  • Translate insight into commercial action
  • Support development of AI-enabled optimisation across key channels
  • Present performance data in financial terms (ROI, margin, payback)

Leadership & Culture

  • Build and lead the internal marketing function
  • Actively contribute to culture through in‑office presence
  • Set high standards for internal teams and agencies
  • Communicate clearly with non‑marketing stakeholders
  • Represent marketing at senior leadership and board level

What We Are Looking For;

Experience

  • 6-10 years in growth, performance or commercial marketing roles
  • Experience scaling high‑volume B2C or marketplace funnels
  • Managed significant paid acquisition budgets (£1m+ preferred)
  • Experience owning or influencing P&L and commercial outcomes
  • Strong collaboration with data teams and modern tech stacks
  • Ability to educate markets or drive demand in evolving categories

Commercial Capability

  • Strong understanding of CAC, LTV, contribution margin and payback
  • Comfortable challenging superficial performance narratives
  • Highly data-literate
  • Able to link brand investment to commercial return
  • Decisive prioritisation approach

Mindset

  • Commercially grounded
  • Calm and structured under pressure
  • Curious about automation and AI
  • Comfortable in a scaling, fast-moving environment
  • Confident navigating ambiguity
  • Willing to challenge constructively

Working Model

  • This is primarily an office‑based role.
  • The organisation is building culture, alignment and capability - proximity and collaboration matter.
  • Flexibility may be offered at management discretion once performance rhythm is established.

Package

  • £75,000 - £85,000 depending on experience
  • Benefits package
  • High visibility within a scaling organisation
  • Opportunity to build a modern, AI‑enabled growth engine
  • Significant influence over the next evolution of how property transactions are completed in the UK
