Trainee Accountant

SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a South Birmingham manufacturing and retail business in the recruitment of a graduate trainee accountant.

My client is seeking to recruit a recent graduate who is looking to study ACCA/CIMA, learn the A-Z of accountancy and work within a friendly and supportive team.

The successful candidate will be hungry to learn and curious to question in order to really make the most of this exciting opportunity to trainee within an inhouse finance team.

In return you will receive full study support and hybrid working.

Duties will include:

- Monthly management account entries
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Credit card payment register maintenance and ownership
- Intercompany recharge invoicing
- Quarterly VAT Returns
- Support with Internal Audit visits
- Support with annual external audit
