Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineering Support Analyst to join a secotr leading organisation’s IT team. This role is essential for supporting data engineering efforts, focusing on the maintenance and optimisation of data infrastructure and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data operations and a commitment to ensuring the efficient processing and management of data.

Key Responsibilities:

• ETL Processes: Assist in designing, developing, and implementing robust ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Data Engineering Solutions: Support the maintenance and optimisation of data engineering solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Documentation: Help create and maintain documentation for data architecture, data models, and enterprise information assets.
• Data Quality: Monitor and ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data engineering solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data operations and troubleshooting efforts.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in a relevant IT or data role.
• Practical experience with data operations and supporting ETL processes.
• Exposure to data tools and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, SQL, or PowerShell (Preferred).
• Basic knowledge of data management and data optimisation.
