Stores Picker & Packer - Full Time, Permanent
Location: Mansfield
Working Hours: Day Shifts (7:45 AM - 4:14 PM)
Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 per annum

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Stores Picker & Packer to join our clients team in Mansfield. This full-time, permanent position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receiving and Processing Shipments
- Unloading and unpacking incoming shipments.
- Inspecting goods for damage and reporting any issues.
- Accurately picking items according to order slips.
- Packing large, heavy, and awkward-shaped boxes
- Using packing materials and equipment, such as tape guns, to seal boxes.
- Conducting regular stock counts and inventory checks.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Labelling shelves and storage areas clearly.
- Preparing orders for dispatch by labelling and addressing packages.
- Safely operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Lifting, moving, and stacking heavy items.
- Performing other physical tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a similar warehouse or stores role
- Ability to handle physical work and be on your feet all day
- Proficiency with packing techniques and using a tape gun
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude, enjoying the hustle of a busy warehouse environment
