As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the inventory levels within our manufacturing facility. Your role will involve ensuring that stock is accurately tracked, properly stored, and readily available to meet production needs. Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. Ensure that inventory is recorded accurately in the system.
- Stock Replenishment: Assist in placing orders for raw materials and packaging supplies as needed, based on production schedules and inventory levels.
- Quality Assurance: Check the quality and condition of stock upon delivery and during storage to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Data Entry: Update and maintain accurate records in the inventory management system, including stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Stock Audits: Conduct regular stock counts and audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Communication: Coordinate with the production team to ensure that stock levels meet manufacturing requirements and notify relevant departments of any stock shortages or issues.
- Compliance: Ensure all stock handling processes adhere to food safety regulations and company policies.
- Waste Management: Track and report on any stock wastage and contribute to efforts to minimize waste.
Skills and Qualifications
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately monitor and record stock levels.
- Basic IT Skills: Proficiency in using inventory management software or willingness to learn.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with different departments.

Experience and Education
- Experience: Previous experience in stock control, or a related field is beneficial but not essential. Training will be provided.
