SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Redditch who are looking for a Sales & Marketing Assistant to join the team
£24,000 - £26,000 + Progression
This would suit a graduate looking for their first Marketing role or someone looking to gain more experience in a company where there is progression.
The role will have a large focus on Social Media Marketing.
Role Overview:
The Sales and Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in developing the business with a range of activities to support our planned growth in sales. This will involve a wide range of activities, both internal and external, in support of the sales team.. The ideal candidate for this multi functional role is a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and someone who is not afraid to get involved in a wide range of activities associated with the development of the business.
The role would be ideal for someone with a formal marketing qualification and wishing to develop a career in a busy, challenging and rewarding environment. Additional training and support will be made available to help ensure success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage content for various marketing channels, including social media, email, website, and print materials.
- Drive customer engagement across multiple channels, including digital, social media, direct mail, advertising, and PR.
- Oversee social media management, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment with overall business objectives.
- Analyse marketing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
- Manage and optimise digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, social media advertising, and email marketing.
- Work closely with the sales team to support lead generation, customer acquisition, and customer engagement and improve customer experience.
- Design and create graphic elements for print and digital marketing collateral, including brochures, leaflets, digital campaigns, website design, social media, banners, advertising, and editorial.
- Create bespoke business presentations and collateral in line with brand guidelines for internal and external use.
- Monitor website analytics and make required enhancements and adjustments to improve appearance, engagement and functionality.
- In liaison with the Managing Director market the business internally through staff initiatives, engagement and alignment with the business vision and values.
- Provide additional support for the sales team on an ad hoc basis
Experience:
- Understanding of marketing principles and practices.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, AdWords, and social media management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Experience with social media management, including content creation and engagement.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Canva) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
