Temporary HR Assistant (9 months)
Location: Central Leicester
Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 DOE

Job Summary:
SF Recruitment are working in partnership with a well establish business who are seeking a dedicated and organised individual for a temporary HR Assistant. This role is based at our Head Office in South Leicester and offers an immediate start. You will be responsible for auditing, creating, and maintaining employee records, and assisting with the transition to a cloud-based HR system from a paper and partial digital file system. In addition, you will be involved in various aspects of employee life cycle support, such as issuing contracts, managing the holiday booking system, recording absences, and processing leavers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce key people metrics and data to ensure that managers and people team colleagues have the accurate, up to date, and comprehensive information that they need to be able to deliver business results.
- Play an active part in encouraging diversity and respectful inclusive behaviours. Act as a role model by ensuring own knowledge is current, managing own biases and behaviours and providing guidance to others.
- Support the annual Colleague Engagement Survey process to ensure a high response rate and support follow up actions
- Ensure that People systems, information and data are accurate, up to date, and managed and held in a format which follows current legislation (e.g., GDPR) and customer standards / codes of practice.
Where appropriate, support less complex colleague relations matters
Qualifications and Skills:
- Comprehensive experience in all aspects of HR administration.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- High levels of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and efficiency skills.
- Proficiency in computer software packages (e.g., Google, Word, Excel).
