Location: Salford
Salary: Up to £45,000
My client, a well-established payroll bureau based in Salford, are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team. You will need extensive knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing, ideally within an accountancy/bureau/umbrella environment.
As the Payroll Manager, you will be managing and developing your team whilst also supporting a portfolio of your own clients.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients across various sectors
- Oversee all aspects of the payroll process, including data entry, calculations, deductions, and RTI submissions.
- Owning and taking responsibility for the client journey, always ensuring service excellence.
- Overseeing recruitment, training, and supervision of payroll team, and provide training.
The successful candidate will:
- CIPP qualified or equivalent, or working at that level.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager in a general accounting practice or payroll bureau environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
