SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator on an ongoing temporary basis, based in Central Birmingham.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised individual to take on the role of Payroll Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, as well as assisting with related administrative tasks.


  • Process monthly payroll for employees using our payroll software
  • Review and verify timesheets and attendance records for accuracy
  • Calculate and process payroll deductions
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner
  • Generate payroll reports for management as needed
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in payroll administration
  • Proficiency with payroll software
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Certified or working towards Payroll Professional (CIPP) desired, not essential
