Marketing and Events Coordinator
SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our clients growing team in Birmingham City Centre, on a 12 month fixed-term contract.
12 Month FTC
£30,000 per annum
Hybrid working (after 6 months probation)
Responsibilities:
Manage Events Calendar:
Oversee the group-wide membership events calendar, including operational and marketing activities.
Operational Lead for Member Events:
Collaborate with Divisional leads to manage member events.
Handle venue sourcing, setup, production of delegate details, event booking and registration, invoicing, internal communications, and on-the-day event management.
Post-Event Analysis:
Conduct post-event evaluations to ensure consistent high-quality event delivery.
Marketing Campaign Management:
Plan and execute marketing campaigns.
Work with designers to develop creative concepts.
Analyse campaign results to determine ROI and success.
Budget Management:
Adhere to the member events budget.
Additional Marketing Tasks:
Undertake additional marketing tasks, both event-related and non-event-related, as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:
Essential:
Minimum of three years' experience in corporate events delivery and marketing in a B2B organization.
Proficient in social media content creation for B2B (e.g., Canva).
Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills, with experience in creating inspiring marketing emails to increase member engagement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant system applications.
Desirable:
Understanding of local business needs.
Effective time management skills and ability to work unsupervised and proactively.
Professional, result-oriented, mature, and adaptable approach.
Negotiating skills and ability to influence decision-making.
Passion for marketing and digital channels.
Full current driving license.
