Management Accountant

SF are excited to be partnering exclusively with a well-established business based in Leicester who are looking for a Management Accountant on a full time, permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to progress and continue their studies.

Job duties:

- Assist in the production of the Management Accounts, helping to ensure they are produced to the standards and at times required.
- Prepare Financial Statements including the Profit and Loss account, Balance Sheet, Cashflow Forecasts and quarterly VAT returns.
- Support budgeting and forecasting.
- Measuring the company's financial performance based on financial records.
- Performing audit duties within the organisation and assisting with external audit annually.
- Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and processing by other team members and recommending improvements where needed.

The ideal candidate must have the following:

- Must be actively studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Experience in a similar position and able to prepare a set of Management Accounts and Month - End duties
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good with systems and Excel
- Team player but also able to use initiative and work alone
