Lead Developer

Lead Developer with a strong technical background in e-commerce web development (PHP, Laravel, JavaScript etc) is sought by a well-established e-commerce and retail organisation based in Birmingham on a rolling three month contract.

With a recent re-design & build of their ecommerce site now complete the business is looking for a highly experienced developer to evaluate the quality, functionality and usability delivering any improvements and creating a roadmap for future projects.

This 'under the bonnet' review will also include team workflow & process analysis with the aim of improving the development teams output & efficiency as the team scales over the coming months.
This role would suit a well-established senior or Lead Developer who has held a senior role in a fast paced, dynamic e-commerce development team.

This Lead Developer should have most of the following key skills:

- Experience leading a team within an e-commerce environment.
- Strong PHP and Laravel MVC skills
- Solid front end skills - JavaScript, React, Vue etc
- Strong code review skills with the ability to manage end to end improvements
- Excellent people skills

This contract is paying circa £350- £400 per day outside of IR35 on a rolling three month contract and will require between 3-5 days a month on-site in Birmingham.
