£34,000 + car allowance + benefits

SF Recruitment are recruiting for a HSQE Advisor to work for our well renowned client, the role is on a 12 month fixed term basis and is based out of Worcestershire.

Role Purpose:
To provide assistance to the company's Head of FM, Regional managers and customer site based teams supporting Facilities Management contracts. Responsibilities include initially 26 sites nationwide in mainland UK. Supporting the business with the implementation and maintenance of the company's HSQE policies, procedures and processes and reporting on safety performance internally and externally.
Provide leadership for HSQE within the contract. To develop and implement HSQE best practice promote compliance with company values and HSQE policies, ensuring compliance with current HSQE legislation as well as compliance with the customers' H&S policies and procedures.
Build effective relationship within the teams of personnel on site, including the customers, as well as colleagues at other customer sites and within the business support functions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Always Promote Health and Safety to both internal and external customers.
- Ensure that robust safe systems of work are deployed and followed by both company and subcontract operators.
- Seek out opportunities for improvement whilst maintaining service levels.
- Maintain and develop HSQE measures with a view to exceeding customers expectation.
- Satisfy the requirements of the company whilst ensuring the customers' demands are fulfilled.
- Drive and achieve key internal and customer KPI's with regards to safety and training.

- Fully understand the company and the customer's HSQE program, including accident and near miss reporting and safety audits. Carry out the required behavioural safety audits, attend site safety meetings.
- Ensure timely HSQE updates are provided to the HSQE manager on HSQE performance using appropriate tracking and data systems.
- Liaise with customer HSQE representatives to align standards, processes and activity

- Set up audit schedules
- Monitor audit activities - reporting on and creating action plans
- Conduct frequent internal audits.
- Create audit reports and action plans and follow up on all action plans.

Moving Forward
- Assist the business with the provision of in-house training for the following areas:
✓ Toolbox talks
✓ Manual handling training
✓ Risk assessment training
✓ Any other safety training as required/identified

Planning, organising and resources managed:
- Risk Assessment and Safe Working Methods
- Support sites in the maintenance of suitable and sufficient risk assessments and safe working methods - create reports and action plans, follow up on all action plans.
- Accident/Incident reporting ensuring accurate and timely incident notification to the HSQE Manager.
- Collation of data for reporting purposes, review of accident/incident investigations.
- Supporting sites with investigations as required. Support Supervisory Staff and Line Management in tracking and resolution of non-compliance at customer sites.

Qualifications, knowledge and experience:
- NEBOSH National General Certificate or above
- Working knowledge of country HSE Legislation
- Previous supervisory knowledge.
- Health and Safety process and guidelines (Safety systems support)
- 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management systems
- Quality systems - (ISO-9001)
- Environmental systems (ISO 14001)
- Working with subcontractors
- Evaluation and Preparation of Safe Systems of Work
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations

- Formal internal auditor qualifications
- Educated to Degree Level
- Working knowledge/experience of HSQE systems management
- Environmental systems.
- 'Train the trainer'.
- Quality systems - ISO41001 International Standard for Facilities Management
- Internal audits and mentoring auditors
