SF Recruitment is excited to partner exclusively with a dynamic and rapidly growing private equity backed business. This organisation is at a pivotal stage of its growth journey and is seeking to establish a robust HR function to support its expanding team.
As the company's first HR hire, you will play a crucial role in embedding HR processes, policies, and culture throughout the organization. This is a unique opportunity to shape and influence the HR landscape of a business poised for significant growth.

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (dependant on experience)
Remote working with occasional travel to London


Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Nurture a positive working environment and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Lead HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions to ensure smooth transitions and integrations.

Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
- Implementation of HR systems and databases.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- International knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
- Mergers and acquisition experience is preferred.
- Previous experience working with a PE backed business is preferred.
