HR Advisor
SF Recruitment is collaborating with a dynamic and expanding blue collar business to find an experienced HR Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation and advance your career toward an HR Business Partner level.
You will be required to travel to other sites on occassion across West Midlands/East Midlands
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Hours: 40 per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Handle TUPE processes to ensure smooth transitions during business transfers.
- Oversee redundancy processes, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
- Provide hands-on support in a fast-paced environment, working either independently or as part of a team.
- Support management and employees with HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Collation of data relating to annual payroll reviews
- Preparation of monthly payroll
- Delivery of induction programmes for new staters
- Assist with development of management teams and support succession planning
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor within manufacturing, logistics, or distribution sectors.
- Demonstrable experience in employee relations, TUPE, and redundancy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Attributes:
- CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- Experience with HR software and systems.
- Proactive and adaptable approach to work.
