Health & Safety Coordinator
Location: Based at either Middleton or Ashton
Salary: Competitive
Permanent

A manufacturing organisation based in Manchester are seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role reports directly to the Head of Behavioural Safety, and this role is a key developmental role within the business, working as a valued member of the Group SHE Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide full administration support and Health & Safety Guidance to the leadership team - including leading and minuting meetings, preparing supporting documents regarding the schedules of projects and works within the business
- Acting as the point of contact to coordinate, communicate & share SHE best practise, knowledge & scheduled change across the organisation in a timely & controlled manner
- Providing timely and accurate month end reporting with detailed analysis on challenges in the business
- Assisting the SHE Leadership Team manage workload related to environmental issues, training & education (a new business initiative) & provide an opportunity to work in collaboration with the sustainability team
- Assisting the management team with the development and production of Health & Safety documentation and visuals in the business
- You will have a dotted line to all of the SHE Leads at each site for the business, and will be supporting them all from an administrative, operational and strategic perspective.
- Supporting the group iniatives relating to Health, Safety & Environmental
- Other duties as required

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience, and attributes:
- A Health & Safety related qualification, with experience working within a Health & Safety role
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Influential personality
- Excellent at building key relationships within the business
- Pragmatic & practical
- Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of excel & powerpoint
- Proactive approach
- Ideally looking to develop their career further in Health & Safety
