Head of IT
A leading Not-for-Profit are looking for an experienced Head of IT to join them on a permanent basis. Hybrid working in Birmingham is expected and a base salary of £62,600 + 35 days annual leave is on offer. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Heads of and the Technology team to scope, plan, monitoring and delivering projects successfully, within budget and on time
Develop effective working relationships with senior managers across the group to translate strategic priorities into practical projects and programmes that they can deliver
Lead, motivate, and inspire the Technology team, a geographically diverse team of Engineers and Analysts, to collaborate effectively to deliver on their personal targets and objectives, plans and budgets
Own the technical platforms and architecture for the technology estate, with a particular focus on the application and user experience
Establish and deliver technical roadmaps for all platforms
Pipeline for key applications services
Manage technical delivery for business-driven projects, from solution design to service transition
Skills and Attributes:
Experience of managing suppliers in a multi-supplier environment
Knowledge of Cyber Security principles
Broad knowledge of end-to-end technology delivery from concept to in service
Project and Programme Management skills, capable of working on multiple projects and initiatives at the same time
Stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work with teams of varying technical abilities
Some knowledge of technology solutions including Applications, Platforms, Cyber Security, Cloud and Integration
Experience of delivering technology solutions through suppliers, including defining requirements, evaluating and selecting solutions and managing delivery and acceptance from a technical perspective
Knowledge of IT architecture, including developing architecture models using TOGAF or equivalent methodology
Knowledge of Project and Programme Management tools and techniques, for example Agile (all variants) or PRINCE2
