Group Reporting Accountant

SF are currently recruiting for a Group Reporting Accountant on a full time, permanent basis. This is an exciting business to work for based in Nottingham and easy to access on public transport as well.

This role is open to Management Accountants/Finance Analysts or Finance Business Partners

The Business Performance Reporting Accountant will play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial reporting and insight that supports effective decision-making across the organisation. This role is responsible for producing accurate, timely, and insightful reports for senior stakeholders, enabling them to track performance, identify key issues, and plan strategically.
● Produce timely, accurate, and insightful monthly Board reports to ensure senior stakeholders are informed and equipped to make effective strategic decisions.

● Design and deliver performance reports that provide clear insight, enabling senior management and key stakeholders to understand business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and take appropriate action.
● Working with stakeholders across the business to support decision making. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support data-driven decision-making and drive operational and financial performance.

● Support long-term strategic planning and short-term forecasting activities to ensure robust financial planning and business readiness.

● Provide finance and reporting expertise on business projects and initiatives, including forecasting and scenario modelling, to support successful project outcomes and informed investment decisions.

● Implement and maintain robust processes and controls to ensure all reporting is accurate, consistent, and compliant with internal and external requirements.

● Safeguard the integrity of financial data used in reporting by embedding controls and checks that ensure it accurately reflects the operations of the business.

● Continuously review and improve reporting processes and outputs to enhance efficiency, relevance, and value to the business.

● Provide finance and reporting support on business projects as required.
