The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join an organisation based near Nottingham on a permanent basis.

Scope of role

- Planned service work on plant process machinery and control systems
- Emergency call-out work to attend site or via remote connection.
- Writing professional, quality reports for site visits.
- Support to the Engineering Manager and/or Project Manager for reporting and accurate estimation of service timescales and requirements.
- Supporting and assisting commissioning staff in installation and commissioning duties.

Essential Criteria

- Apprenticeship / HNC in a relevant engineering or technical subject is preferred
- Ideally previous experience as a service engineer with both an electrical and mechanical background
- Experience or able to demonstrate an understanding of basic programming Rockwell (Allen Bradley) or Siemens PLCs
- To be based local to Nottinghamshire as attendance will be required at head office to support in-house mechanical / electrical machine build and test operations when not conducting service work.
