Electrical Design Manager. Our client is seeking a skilled Engineering Design Manager to lead our engineering product design team. In this role, you will oversee the complete product design lifecycle from concept to production handover, ensuring high-quality output within agreed timelines. As the electrical and electronics expert, you'll be pivotal in driving innovation and ensuring technical compliance with customer specifications.

Electrical Design Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team in product design, maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Lead the product design cycle, from concept to production handover.
- Drive electrical and electronic innovation for the business, supporting DC circuits to CAN Bus networks.
- Provide technical support in mechanical design as needed.
- Ensure electrical designs meet customer specifications and legislative standards.
- Foster team engagement, conduct 1:1s, and set annual goals aligned with business objectives.
- Produce high-standard design documentation, including performance calculations, test plans, and material justifications.
- Collaborate with European engineering teams and focus on customer-centric improvements.

Electrical Design Manager - Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in a management role preferred.
- Strong background in Electrical Design Engineering and familiarity with Mechanical Engineering.
- Hands-on approach with an Engineering degree or equivalent apprenticeship.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday permanent days
