The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Junior Design Engineer to join one of the UK's leading manufactures of LV Switchgear and Power Distribution systems on a full-time, permanent basis, located in Sutton in Ashfield.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation with around fifty years in business, to continue developing your career in Electrical Design Engineering.

Scope of role

- Preparing detailed designs and specific contract work instructions documentation for LV switchgear and power distribution systems
- Providing close customer liaison on receipt of orders
- To be responsible for engineering orders won by the company, within budget and time frame, to specification and quality standards.
- To be responsible for complying with and implementing the Q&E management system.
- Compliance with agreed build specification and Company design criteria.

Essential Criteria

- A relevant Electrical Engineering qualification
- Around 3-5 year's industry experience within Electrical Design Engineering.
- Experience using Autodesk Inventor and SEE Electrical software.
- Experience working with switchboards and panels within a design capacity would be an advantage.
- Customer liaison experience would also be an advantage.
