SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in Solidworks to work on a contract basis for our established manufacturing client based in Tamworth. This is an initial 3 month contract but is likely to be extended.
Our clients are experts in manufacturing a wide range of gates and require a highly experienced mechanical engineer to come in and assist with workload with little supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Create models and detailed drawings
- Remaster old drawings to create definitions that meet modern standards
- Support colleagues in taking new and updated components through the design review process
- Support in updating Bills of Material

Skills Needed:
5+ years experience with product design - Advanced skills with SolidWorks
Full product lifecycle experience
Experience in calculation within product development
