Commercial Finance Analyst

Hybrid Working | 1-2 Days per Week in the Office (Oxfordshire)

We are supporting a high-growth business in the search for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join its finance function and play a key role in driving profitable global growth.

This is a commercially focused role, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence product, pricing, promotional and inventory decisions through high-quality insight and forecasting.

The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will act as a true business partner to commercial, marketing and supply chain teams. Your focus will be on translating complex data into actionable insight to support planning, forecasting and performance delivery across business operations.

Key responsibilities include:

Owning and managing commercial sales forecasts, analysing trends, customer behaviour and market dynamics

Leading demand forecasting within the Integrated Business Planning cycle alongside sales and marketing teams

Using sales forecasts to support inventory planning and target stock levels across multiple locations

Partnering with supply chain teams to optimise working capital and minimise total cost of ownership

Analysing gross margin performance versus prior year, budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and variances

Producing and maintaining insightful reports to support commercial decision-making

Proactively identifying opportunities to improve overall business performance

About You

You will be an analytically strong, commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

You are likely to have:

Proven experience in a commercial finance role

Strong experience with ERP, MRP and supply chain systems

Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large, complex datasets

A solid understanding of sales forecasting, demand planning and supply chain processes within a global business

A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong desire to drive results

A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACA or ACCA)

Working Pattern

This is a hybrid role, with 1-2 days per week required in the office in Oxfordshire, and the remainder flexible/remote.
