Chief Financial Officer
SF Executive have been retained by a hugely successful (£10m EBITDA plus), private equity backed business to deliver a search for a high calibre, commercially astute and grounded Chief Financial Officer.
The business, within the manufacturing and distribution space is a market leader in it's field and needs a new CFO to help drive an already highly successful company onto even bigger things.
As well has having a focus on getting the basics right (systems, procedures, reporting, risk management, cash generation) you'll be a true business partner to a talented CEO and also be the main conduit between the company and its various stakeholders - private equity investors / banks / non execs / the wider Board.
You'll drive the business to be the very best it can in all areas and ultimately deliver a positive exit for shareholders.
With locations across the UK, we're taking a pragmatic approach to finding the best and brightest candidates for this role. With flexibility and a willingness to be present on your part, we can consider candidates from across the UK and will also offer a relocation package if necessary.
Given this approach and the package which includes a mid seven figure equity opportunity, we can only consider candidates that have (recently) delivered one or all of the following as standalone CFO -
- a PE to trade exit in product based business (manufacturing / FMCG / retail)
- a private to trade exit in a similarly relevant business
- a PE to PE exit in a a similarly relevant business
- a significant PE fundraise within a similarly relevant business
Given the eventual exit value of this business will be in excess of £250m EV we would imagine that any previous deals you have completed would be in businesses with turnover and exit EV of at least £50m - ideally in excess of £100m on both fronts.
Due to the output from our search activity and level of applications expected, we will only be able to get back to relevant candidates - please make sure that when submitting your CV you clearly articulate what your employers did / do to generate revenue, the turnover / EBITDA level and some detail on the size and nature of the transactions you've delivered as CFO.
