SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Birmingham who are looking for a Business Development Executive for the South West
£35,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Car
Remote - Candidate must live in the South West and ideally Bristol but this is negotiable. Travel 1 day a month to Birmingham.

The Role of Business Development Executive: Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Business Development Executive role is positioned within our Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) division focused on selling to the Electrical Wholesale sector in the south west region of the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the 2024 sales and profit budget by visiting both new, and existing, customers and developing growth of our expanding product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive:
- The delivery of the annual sales and profit budget.
- Maintaining, and growing, Live Trade Accounts within the territory.
- Achievement of daily call targets as defined by the National Sales Manager.
- Prospecting new accounts for the acquisition of new business.
- Fully utilising the company CRM system to record and plan activity.
- Reporting on competitor activity within the region.
- Management / Sales reporting as required.

Key Attributes/Experience:
- Strong B2B sales experience with proven experience of delivering results in a similar role.
- Demonstrable experience of territory management and utilising time efficiently
- Ability to build and retain, lasting, long-term business relationships.
- Industry experience would be desirable, but not essential.
- History of working with CRM tools.
- Excellent personal manner and communicator.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- A well-balanced individual with meticulous attention to detail.

Location: Southwest, including South Wales.
