Assistant Management Accountant

My client is a rapidly growing organisation based in Trafford Park. Due to continued growth of the business they are recruiting this newly created position into their vibrant and expanding finance function, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop and progress their career to become a qualified accountant.

As an Assistant Management Accountant you will be responsible for a variety of transactional and month end duties within the finance function. This will include managing the purchase and sales ledgers, reconciling the bank accounts and balance sheet, posting journals, accruals and pre-payments as well as preparing the monthly accounts including profit and loss and the balance sheet. This role will very quickly become a Management Accountant position where you will take ownership of the management accounts as well as the commentary of performance.

This role will suit a candidate who is working towards their CIMA or ACCA qualification and has experience in a varied transactional accounting role as well as experience with month end processes. The salary on offer is paying up to £38,000 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes full study support and fantastic opportunities to develop and progress your career.
