Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and organised individual to join our team as an Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing general administrative tasks while focusing on efficiently processing business rates. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Process business rates accurately and efficiently in accordance with established procedures and deadlines.
Maintain up-to-date records of business rate payments and assessments.
Respond promptly to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external parties regarding business rates.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to business rates as needed.
Collaborate with colleagues to streamline processes and improve efficiency in business rate administration.
Handle general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
Support other departments with administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in administrative roles
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks and procedures.
