Accounts Receivable Assistant

SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Accounts Receivable Assistant for a long term contract based in Birmingham. City Centre, offering hybrid working and a January start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily cash allocation
- Manage your own portfolio of customer accounts
- Proactively chase overdue debt via phone and email
- Resolve invoice and payment queries promptly
- Maintain accurate records and update the ledger daily
- Prepare aged debtor reports and highlight risks
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely payments
- Support with month-end tasks as required
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Confident using accounting systems and Excel
- Someone who can pick things up quickly and add value from day one
