Accounts Assistant
SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a part-time Accounts Assistant to join their energetic and busy accounts team on a permanent basis. For the successful candidate the offering includes onsite parking, a modern office environment and hybrid working.
As the Accounts Assistant you will play a vital role in the day to day work of the accounts department. Tasks will be varied and day to day but duties will include:
- Accounts receivable - including processing of customer invoices and statements, managing the collection of all payments
- Accounts payable - including processing of supplier invoices, reconciling statements, managing payment runs and remittances
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Processing bank postings
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Manage and update weekly cashflow
- Helping to resolve internal and external finance queries
- Management of credit card and cash expense process
- Support balance sheet reconciliations
- Administrative support and cover for the team when required
- Potential to take on more responsibilities as the role develops
This role consists of Approx 20 hours per week, Ideally 9.30am - 2.30pm, Tuesday - Friday, but our client be flexible so please let us know if another working pattern would suit you better.
Our client is seeking someone who has experience in a similar role or has transferrable skills from a similar role and a keen interest in finance. They're more than happy to provide training to the right candidate who has a positive and proactive attitude, but any finance, accounting or business qualifications would be a bonus.
